Our expertise & the work we do
We take on projects that are likely to make health care significantly better, through education, research and innovation.
Medical education & training programmes
We run workshops and training programmes that raise public awareness and help practitioners keep learning. Topics include:
- The latest health practices, and how to apply them with the resources available
- Patient care-giving
- Research methodology, to help clinicians become better researchers
- How to design innovative health solutions
Our caregiver training now runs through the ACMERI–ASHA Care Skill Institute.
Research with leading institutions
We have run research projects for many respected organisations and institutions, including the World Health Organization, the University of Minnesota, IIT Jodhpur, the University of Bedfordshire and EASYCare UK.
Our studies range from how cultural differences affect falls and frailty in older people to the quality of life of COPD patients.

We are always looking for innovators who want to design and build health care products, and we create solutions of our own. We also help inventors and universities bring their inventions to market.
We work with technology initiatives and mobile-health startups to make health care more accessible and affordable in remote areas.
Major areas of our health care efforts
These are some of the key areas we have worked in.
Public Health
Most of our work aims to improve rural health, starting with rural Rajasthan. We have run training programmes and health camps that provide health education and treatment.
We also work with technology initiatives and mobile-health startups to bring affordable care to remote areas.
Genetics
Genetic research is improving health care every day. With leading clinical and laboratory geneticists, we build training programmes that help the public and physicians recognise genetic disorders and get them diagnosed and treated.
Early detection matters most, so we focus on rare diseases and metabolic disorders in children.
Geriatric & Elderly Care
We teach older people why health and active participation in life matter, to prevent the diseases and disabilities that inactivity can cause.
Our workshops for nurses and caregivers cover daily care, and also how a caregiver's attitude and behaviour affect the patient, and why caregivers need to look after their own physical and mental health.
Tele-Medicine
Through online tele-medicine conferences, we give practitioners specialist training so they can meet patients' needs where the patients live, when they need care.
Rural and under-served communities would otherwise have no access to this specialist knowledge.
Have a project that could make health care better?
We welcome partnerships with institutions, innovators and funders.
